Looks like another version of Clue is coming soon, this time themed to Harry Potter:

A fellow student has vanished from the famous School of Witchcraft and Wizardry--and it is up to you to solve the mysterious disappearance. Play as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna or Neville and try to discover who did it, what spell or item they used, and where the student was attacked. Was it Draco Malfoy with a Sleeping Draught in the Owlery?

Move around Hogwarts making suggestions -- but watch out. Wheels on the board actually move to reveal secret passages, hidden staircases, and even the Dark Mark. Think you've gathered all the facts you need? Go to Dumbledore's office to make your final accusation to win the game. Tannerman, is HP the only Clue game based on a movie? I know there are Scooby-Do and The Simpsons (and surprisingly there wasn't a Clue: The Movie: The Board Game). So does HP mark the first?

Perhaps a better question is this the first Clue Game (or any board game) based on a book? (not including the books based on this game).

Well, Alfred Hitchcock Clue is based on a number of films, with each room representing a different movie. But as far as one film property, this would seem to be a little different.

As far as books, yeah, I guess you could say that, if you discount the Dungeons and Dragons Clue Though it's obvious that this is based on the film interpretation of the stories.

Frankly, seems a little late to the game in the HP marketing rush. This was probably originally being slated to release with the new film in December, but that got pushed back till next summer.
