Get a CLUE at the Tanners 2006

Over this past weekend, Amy and I hosted a "Clue Night" at our condo. A couple years ago we had just a few people over to play the classic detective boardgame Clue with us at our old apartment.

"Hmm, should I take the Secret Passage?"

Because we really like playing this game, we decided to revive this idea. However, this time around it was on a much larger scale.

Everyone grabs some grub

We hosted 21 people playing on 3 different Clue boards at the same time! Combine this with the showing of the cult-classic 1985 film Clue, add a lot of food, and maybe some Jones Soda taste testing of the Halloween flavors, and you've got a pretty exciting evening.

Deep contemplation around the gameboard

To keep things interesting, I pulled out some of the Clue derivatives we own, which often meant that it was the same gameplay, but with a different theme. (After pulling all these out, I think Amy and I figured we owned more than 10 different versions of the game Clue).

Congrats go out to everyone who was able to pull off a win in their individual games.

Megan won "Clue The Haunted Mansion"
(Minnie Mouse with The Hitchhiker in the Portrait Chamber)

Melissa won "Scooby Doo Clue"
(Mrs. White with Frankenstein's Chain in the Dining Room)

Scott won "Clue Master Detective"
(Miss Peach with the Rope in the Carriage House)

We hope everyone had a fun time. Amy and I sure did! Let's do it again sometime.

Clue night was a blast!! We cannot wait for the next party. Thanks for the invite. It was fun to meet a lot of the people pictured in your blog. I obviously didn't have a clue when I made my accusation, but at least I never gave my cards away like someone else I know, Steve. :-)

"CONSERVATORY!!!"

guilty

Had a great time with all! The Jones soda's were actually pretty good this time! But not nearly as delicious as the Smoked Salmon Patee!
